Telehealth for Patients in Advanced Recovery

Flexible, Personalized Care for Sustained Recovery

CleanSlate Outpatient Recovery Centers is proud to introduce our new Telehealth for Patients in Advanced Recovery service, offering stable patients the flexibility to continue their addiction treatment remotely while maintaining all essential in-person requirements.

What is Telehealth for Advanced Recovery?

Starting June 9th, eligible CleanSlate patients who have demonstrated stability in their recovery can opt to continue their treatment through secure, convenient telehealth appointments, reducing the need for frequent in-office visits. Please note: All required laboratory work and drug screening must still be completed in person at our facility, regardless of your telehealth participation. Virtual appointments complement but do not replace necessary clinical testing and monitoring.

Eligibility Requirements for Telehealth

Eligibility is determined by your provider based on clinical assessment and includes:

  • Consistent attendance at scheduled appointments.
  • Demonstrated behavioral stability.
  • Reduced need for frequent monitoring.
  • Access to a private setting and appropriate video call technology.

Patients must remain punctual for all scheduled appointments. Repeated no-shows or lateness may result in a return to in-person visits.

Periodic In-Person Assessments

Even with telehealth, occasional in-person visits remain essential for:

  • Laboratory testing
  • Clinical evaluations

Your care team will schedule these appointments as needed.

Why Telehealth Isn't for New Patients

CleanSlate’s data and extensive experience show that telehealth alone cannot sufficiently support patients in the early stages of recovery. New patients benefit from:

  • Regular face-to-face interactions
  • Consistent accountability
  • Essential human connections

Telehealth becomes appropriate only when patients achieve the stability required by eligibility guidelines.

Benefits of Telehealth for Advanced Recovery Patients

Telehealth offers significant advantages for eligible patients:

  • Enhanced flexibility to manage work and family responsibilities
  • Continued high-quality treatment without frequent travel
  • Supportive environment that aligns with long-term recovery goals

CleanSlate’s telehealth service helps you integrate your recovery journey with daily life.
