As President and CEO of CleanSlate, Marotta leads a national medical group that has been a pioneer in outpatient addiction medicine and which has become a significant partner on the frontlines of the opioid epidemic. Amidst the gravest public health crisis of our time, Marotta has overseen the continued rapid expansion of CleanSlate to meet the urgent demand for its medication treatment services in communities across the country. Marotta’s focus at CleanSlate is not only on expanding the company’s own capacity to save lives but also in leading the company’s public policy and information efforts to drive legislative change, increase access to care, and break down the stigma around the chronic disease of addiction.

At CleanSlate, Paul has assembled scalable, reliable, and secure technology platforms that have enabled exponential growth.  With over twenty years in the IT field, Paul has held numerous technology leadership positions, including four CIO roles. His breadth of experience ranges from startup firms to Fortune 50 health care organizations within a variety of industries, such as: insurance and pharmacy benefit management, third party administration, and multi-clinic provider organizations.

Robert Hutchison

Chief Financial Officer, CleanSlate

Robert brings nearly 25 years of healthcare accounting and finance experience to CleanSlate. Prior to joining the company, Robert served as Chief Financial Officer for FastMed Urgent Care and was based in Phoenix, Arizona. In his role, Robert directed the finance, accounting and billing office functions for the firm’s 106 clinics while successfully completing a debt restructuring and recapitalization.

Neil Kunkel

Chief Legal Officer, CleanSlate 

Neil Kunkel is responsible for all legal and compliance functions of CleanSlate. Prior to joining the Company, Neil served as Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer, of Capella Healthcare, Inc., a private equity owned manager and owner of rural hospitals throughout the United States.  Neil has also held senior legal positions with other for profit hospital companies, including HCA, the country’s largest publicly traded hospital management company and Lifepoint Health, a leading owner and manager of rural hospitals.

Bob Wilson

Chief Human Resources Officer, CleanSlate

Bob Wilson is responsible for the Human Resources strategy and capabilities to support CleanSlate’s core business operations. Prior to joining CleanSlate, Bob was with ConcertoHealth in Irvine, California where he built the Human Resources department from the ground up and assisted the organization in transitioning from an insurance plan to a provider company.  Prior to joining ConcertoHealth, Bob served as the EVP of Human Resources and Administration at Healogics, the national leader in wound care management.

Diane Daych is a managing partner and co-founder at Granite Growth. She has more than 30 years of investing, advisory and operating experience, with more than 25 years of experience in the health services industry. Before founding Granite Growth, Diane led Apple Tree Partners’ healthcare services investing team. From 2010 to 2012, she was a managing director and co-head, Private Equity, of the Marwood Group.

Eugene C. Fleming

Gene Fleming is Chairman of Dermatology Solutions Group and serves on the Board of Directors for Aspire Health, Syus Inc., as well as CleanSlate Addiction Treatment Centers. A lifelong healthcare executive, Fleming most recently served as Executive Chairman of the Rehab Documentation Company until its purchase in May 2014 and on the board of PhyMed Holdings until its acquisition in November 2014. He was Chairman and CEO of Cogent Healthcare from 2005 until its acquisition in 2011.

Chris is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP, based in the Firm’s Boston office.  He is partner-in-charge of its Boston Health Industry Advisory Practice Group, and national co-chairman of its Academic Medical Centers practice. Chris represents nonprofit and for-profit health care provider and health plan clients in merger, acquisition, affiliation, and joint venture transactions; sales of non-profit assets and operations to for-profit companies; and conversions from taxable to tax-exempt status.

Patrick J. Kennedy

Board Member

During his 16 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Rhode Island’s First Congressional District, Patrick J. Kennedy fought to end discrimination against mental illness, addiction, and other brain diseases. He is best known as the lead sponsor of the groundbreaking Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), which was passed with bi-partisan support, and signed into law by President George W. Bush on October 3, 2008.
