This week’s Warrior Spotlight is on Allyson Silva, Care Coordinator in Plymouth, MA.  Allyson’s Center Manager, Shannon DeMille wanted to put the spotlight on Ally because she continuously goes above and beyond for her patients so they can truly achieve the lives they want and deserve.  Thank you for sharing these stories, Shannon, and thank you, Ally for everything you do for our patients and for embodying the Warrior Spirit everyday.

Allyson Silva 4.17.19“Since Allyson joined the Plymouth team in November, she has been an essential part of our team.  Ally is always up for a challenge and takes on any task she is given.  Ally has helped multiple patients obtain insurance coverage, transportation and primary care doctors.  Ally goes above and beyond to help every patient.

She has spent countless hours on the phone with insurance companies and even hotels to make sure our patients have exactly what they need.  She has stayed at the office beyond her scheduled time many days in order to help the team or patients.

Ally will take on any task with enthusiasm and complete it fully.  The Plymouth team is so lucky to have such a caring team member that embodies all of CleanSlate’s missions and values.

Shannon continued to provide stories from recent events that emphasized Ally’s commitment and dedication to putting her Patients First. Allyson Silva 2 4.17.19

“Last week we had a patient that is homeless. Ally spent hours on the phone finding the pick up location for a local homeless shelter and made sure he had her office number in case there were any issues. Of course, there were issues.

Ally answered every call and helped this patient for hours after the clinic had closed.  Ally took the time to find the numbers of any contacts at the shelter requesting the staff go back and pick the patient up.  Unfortunately they would not go back for the patient, but Ally stayed in the office until she knew the patient had a warm place to stay.

Ally also spent hours working with one of our struggling patients to help her make the decision to go to a Dual Diagnosis Inpatient Unit.  She was able to provide the patient with all her options and make sure she knew exactly what to expect.

She took the time to help the patient understand what steps were needed in order to gain admission to the program and called to ensure they had a bed waiting for her after she had been medically cleared by a local hospital.  This patient will now get the care she needs due to all of Ally’s hard work and dedication.”

The extra time and care that Ally puts in with her patients is what sets CleanSlate apart from any other organization.  The dedication our Warriors have for our patients is unparalleled and we are incredibly fortunate to have you as part of our team.  Thank you, Ally!
