POLICY UPDATE: New Compliance and Learning & Development Policies Now in Effect

A few months ago, we shared with you that the Compliance Team will be rolling out updated CleanSlate policies to the company as we prepare for CARF accreditation and state licensure requirements for all CleanSlate locations.
We have several new or updated policies that have recently been approved that we will be sharing with you in batches over the next few weeks. This week we share new or updated policies from Compliance and Learning & Development that are hyperlinked below. Compliance has developed a new company-wide Policy Development & Implementation Process. This policy establishes protocols for the development, revision, editing and implementation of policies and procedures for areas that:
1) Pose risks for non-compliance with laws and regulations
2) Promote compliance with the Code of Conduct
3) Are regulated by the state or are required for licensing.
The Learning & Development Team has rolled out two new policies listed below:
Ongoing Training & Development: This policy ensures CleanSlate employees receive role-specific required training, compliance training, and training required by law. This policy applies to all permanent, full-time or part-time, employees of the company. Employees with temporary/short-term contracts might attend trainings at their manager?s discretion. This policy doesn?t cover supplementary employees like contractors or consultants unless otherwise required by law.
Orientation & Training of New-Hire Employees: This policy CleanSlate employees attend orientation on mission, vision, values, company business, and policies, related to compliance as well as clinical, operational, and staff support roles prior to starting his or her job. This policy applies to all permanent, full-time or part-time, employees of the company. Employees with temporary/short-term contracts might attend trainings at their manager?s discretion. This policy doesn?t cover supplementary employees like contractors or consultants.
