The Muncie CleanSlate center recently implemented a new incentive program for patients who keep all of their scheduled visits. The center staff have started to hole punch (with a special hole punch) the patient appointment cards. Every time a patient comes in for their scheduled visit, the staff punch the card. When the appointment card is full, it is placed in a fish bowl for a drawing to win a special surprise. When a patient shows up for their called random and they show, the staff also put a card in the fish bowl.Muncie Punch Card Gift

“The significance of this is the excitement from the patients knowing they have a chance to win a little something. It keeps them accountable for their appointments, their appointment card and their randoms. Some of our patients have never won anything before and just the chance has proven very promising with the patients,” said Center Manager Julie Clifton. “In our field we see so much dismay and sorrow. This is an opportunity to give something tangible to the patient for all their hard work — bringing a smile to not only the patients, but to all of our staff as well.”
