During the month of July, Elkhart and Warsaw, Indiana Center Manager Marisa Nyikos challenged her Medical Assistant and Medical Receptionist team members to a little friendly competition to see who could exemplify the “Warrior Spirit” by giving the best care to CleanSlate patients.

Meshia Evans, Medical Assistant for the Elkhart center, won the “Customer Service Champion” award for the month of July. In addition to a certificate of recognition, Meshia also received an Amazon gift card. Meshia Evans Elkhart IN

“This competition is all about who is displaying the Warrior Spirit and showing the CleanSlate Values to our patients every day,” said Nyikos. “Meshia always goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable and establish connections with them all while performing her job at a high level.”

Nyikos determined the winner by observing team members in their interactions with patients. Sometimes they did not know she was listening! She also randomly asked patients how their visit went, how they were treated, if they had a ?favorite? staff member, etc. She plans to award one team member each month for the rest of the year.
