CleanSlate remains committed to upholding the highest ethical and compliance standards to best support our patients and colleagues. Our commitment to compliance goes hand-in-hand with our second core value: Respect and Compassion Always. It is not only our obligation but rather our privilege to ensure the confidentiality of those who entrust us with their care along their road to recovery.

The Compliance Team has been hard at work over the last few months distributing our 2019 Code of Conduct and ensuring we meet the stringent privacy regulations required of our company by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Thank you to everyone who has completed their annual privacy training to prevent improper handling or release of the important information patients entrust us with each day. We will continue to wrap up annual privacy training through the end of the month.Compliance-Guide-logo-orange_blue

This October, Compliance will roll out an additional training required of Medicare and Medicaid payors focusing on eliminating fraud, waste and abuse in the healthcare system throughout the country. We ask that you complete these trainings as soon as possible once assigned to you as they are required to maintain our contracts with many of our private insurance partners.

As a Warrior for Hope, your commitment to compliance is demonstrated by your timely completion of required training courses, diligence in upholding and following CleanSlate policies and procedures, and in other ways such as asking questions regarding compliance concerns or notifying the Compliance Team at and making event reports when necessary. When 2019 annual employee reviews are completed early next year, each colleague’s commitment to compliance will be evaluated as part of the larger review process.

We look forward to continuing to work with you all as we strive to provide the highest level of quality addiction and behavioral healthcare for our patients. Thank you for your tireless commitment to further the CleanSlate mission.
